THE ASSOCIATION REPRESENTS ITS MEMBERS COLLECTIVE INTERESTS BEFORE LEGISLATORS and REGULATORY COMMISSIONS. NEW LEGISLATIVE INITIATIVES UNDER CONSIDERATION IN THE MAINE LEGISLATURE ARE ANALYZED for THEIR IMPACT ON THE MEMBERS. THE RESULTS of THESE ANALYSES ARE USED to SUPPORT, OPPOSE AND/OR REVISE SUCH LEGISLATION SO THAT THE ASSOCIATION MEMBERS INTERESTS IN AFFORDABLE ENERGY and PRODUCTIVE ENERGY SERVICES ARE MAINTAI
