What they do

Due to A Significant Decrease In Grants, Gifts, Contributions and Other Funding, Hemispheres Was Forced to Suspend Art Instruction Program Activities During The Summer and Fall of 2004 Until Volunteer Fundraising Could Produce Enough Income to Support Those Art Instruction Programs, As Well As Minimal Operating Expenses.The Organization Has Since Held Highly Successful Fundraising Events Known As Roast for The Arts. These Events Have Provided Funds Allowing The Organization to Begin Making Grants to Other Local Non-profit Organizations Supporting Their Art Education Programs for Children. Those Grants Totaled $100,000 for FYE 2017, Which Was Comprised of A Single Grant, Which Liquidated The Organizations Assets.The Organization Has Made A Liquidating Distribution/contribution to Another Local 501(c)(3) Organization (MEP Career Pathway Academies), for The Purpose of Supporting That Entities Efforts to Continue Supporting Art Education.
