What they do
AVALONS WELLNESS EXPENSES INCLUDE PAYMENT TO INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS SUCH AS THERAPISTS, MASSAGE EQUIPMENT, AND PUBLIC AWARENESS EVENTS. AVALON FORGOES 25-75% OF INCOME ON WELLNESS SERVICES TO ALL ACCEPTED STUDENTS AND STAFF IN ORDER TO PLACE INDIVIDUAL WELLNESS AS A TOP PRIORITY. OUR THERAPISTS FREQUENTLY VOLUNTEERED TO PROVIDE DONATION BASED MASSAGE AND OTHER WELLNESS THERAPIES TO INDIVIDUALS ATTENDING EDUCATIONAL EVENTS AND FESTIVALS, INCLUDING THOSE OCCURRING OUT OF STATE. ADDITIONALLY, OUR WELLNESS PROGRAM PROVIDED CLASSES IN YOGA AND MASSAGE THERAPY TO THE PUBLIC. IN HOUSE, WE SERVICED 35 INDIVIDUALS, AND INTERNATIONALLY, ANOTHER 100.

Money made simple
Ask these three easy questions
- Who did you help? Ask for a recent story or report that shows real results.
- What will my money do? Ask exactly what your gift will pay for.
- Is this really the charity? Give only through its official website or confirmed phone number.
Bottom line: Do not decide from a name, mission statement, or tax status alone. Look at where the money went, then ask what changed, who was helped, and what your gift will do. YouCanGiveBack does not endorse or grade organizations.
