What they do
THE HOPKINTON LIBRARY FOUNDATION is A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT WAS FORMED to HELP FURTHER and IMPROVE THE PUBLIC LIBRARY IN OUR TOWN. BECAUSE of MANY GENEROUS GIFTS, MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS and BEQUESTS OVER THE YEARS, THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED FUNDING for SEVERAL LIBRARY STUDIES, ARCHITECTURAL PLANS and PUBLICITY for THE BUILDING PROJECT THAT PRODUCED THE LIBRARY WE ARE PROUD to HAVE TODAY. THE FOUNDATION CONTINUES to ENHANCE THE LIBRARY and THE COMMUNITY BY FUNDING ADULT and CHILDRENS PROGRAMS, CONTRIBUTING to THE FICTION, NONFICTION, AUDIO and VIDEO COLLECTIONS and CONTRIBUTING to THE LIBRARYS TECHNOLOGY UPGRADES. IT FUNDS THE LIBRARY NEWSLETTER and PARTIALLY UNDERWRITES THE HOPKINTON READS PROGRAM. INCOME FROM THE FOUNDATIONS INVESTMENTS ARE USED to PROVIDE THESE BENEFITS to THE LIBRARY BEYOND THE NORMAL OPERATING BUDGET.

Money made simple
Ask these three easy questions
- Who did you help? Ask for a recent story or report that shows real results.
- What will my money do? Ask exactly what your gift will pay for.
- Is this really the charity? Give only through its official website or confirmed phone number.
Bottom line: Do not decide from a name, mission statement, or tax status alone. Look at where the money went, then ask what changed, who was helped, and what your gift will do. YouCanGiveBack does not endorse or grade organizations.
