SAFERs On Going Efforts Over The Past 20 Years Have Led to A Noticeable Decrease of Feral Cats On The Seacoast. The Majority of Cats That Require SAFERs Assistance Are Now Found to Be Adoptable After Trapping and Assessing. These Cats Are Transported to Local Shelters for Adoption. 85 Adoptable Cats Helped In 2025. Being An Established and Known Feline Rescue In The Area Has Helped to Quickly Facilitate Removing These Cats From The Streets Prior to Procreating Which In Turn Eliminates The Return of A Feral Cat Population. With Populations Down On The Seacoast We Have Been Able to Help More Communities In New Hampshire and Southern Maine.
