The CHSCA Has Supported An Annual Student Exchange Program Since 2004 to Foster School, Family and Living Experiences of Students From Both Cupertino CA and Hsinchu Taiwan. Each Year A Group of Students From The Cupertino Union School District (CUSD) and Fremont Union High School District (FUHSD) Are Selected and Prepared for Their Trip to Hsinchu In April to Visit Their Host Familys Students for A Week. In October, A Group of Hsinchu Students In Turn Will Visit Another Group of Host Families In California. Through These Exchange Programs, Students From Both Sides Experience Valuable and Lifelong Friendships and Knowledge Through The Activities and Encounters Throughout The Entire Visit Preparations and Process. Hsinchu is Known As The Silicon Valley of Taiwan With Over 300 Tech Companies Located In The Hsinchu Science and Technology Park, and Part of This Exchange is to Provide Students An Opportunity to See How Connected Our Two Cities Are and The World As A Whole.
Should I give to this charity?
Basic public information is available, but it is not enough to judge how well donations are used. Ask the charity for a current spending breakdown and results.
Plain answer: A tax form cannot prove that a charity is doing good. It can show how the charity says it spent its money—and point out questions you should ask.

Money made simple
Ask these three easy questions
- Who did you help? Ask for a recent story or report that shows real results.
- What will my money do? Ask exactly what your gift will pay for.
- Is this really the charity? Give only through its official website or confirmed phone number.
Bottom line: Do not decide from a name, mission statement, or tax status alone. Look at where the money went, then ask what changed, who was helped, and what your gift will do. YouCanGiveBack does not endorse or grade organizations.

A plain-language look at the latest Form 990 figures available. These numbers help you ask better questions; they do not, by themselves, rate whether a charity is good or bad.
