THE SOCIETY PROVIDES PROFESSIONAL EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES for PET OWNERS and PROSPECTIVE PET OWNERS and ENCOURAGES VOLUNTEERS to BECOME INVOLVED WITH THE CARE and TRAINING of DOGS and CATS, NOT ONLY AT THE SHELTER BUT ALSO IN THE LARGER COMMUNITY.
