The Westborough Civic Club Was Organized In 1975 for The Sole Purpose of Benefiting The Town of Westborough and Its Residents . The Club is Comprised of Civic-minded Men and Women From All Walks of Life Who Derive Satisfaction Through Personal Participation In Fund Raising Activities In A Dynamic, Social, Community-based Organization. Our Primary Fund Raising Activity is The Sale of Christmas Trees Each Year Between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Members Do All The Work (with A Little Help From Our Friends), Including: Ordering Materials and Stock, Setting Up The Tree Lot, Handling Thousands of Trees and Wreaths, Tree Sales and Clean-up. The Proceeds of The Tree Sale Are Returned to The Community In The Form of Donations to Many Town Organizations.
