MANY PWRC ATHLETES GO ON to MAKE THE JUNIOR, U23, and SENIOR US NATIONAL SLALOM TEAMS and COMPETE AT THE OLYMPICS, WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS, WORLD CUPS, and OTHER NATIONAL and INTERNATIONAL RACES. PWRC ALSO RUNS A SUMMER CAMP to RECRUIT and ENCOURAGE YOUNG WHITEWATER PADDLERSTRAVEL EXPENSES: PWRC COACHES TRAVEL to NATIONAL and INTERNATIONAL TRAINING CAMPS and RACES to COACH PWRC ATHLETES. IN THE SUMMER of 2024, PWRC COACHES TRAVELED WITH MEMBERS of THE US NATIONAL TEAM to EUROPE for JUNIOR and U23 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS IN LIPTOVSKY MIKULAS, SLOVAKIA. IN THE US, PWRC COACHES COACHED GROUPS AT US TEAM TRIALS IN MONTGOMERY, AL and OKLAHOMA CITY;
