THE ASSOCIATIONS PURPOSE is THE ORGANIZATION, DEVELOPMENT and CONSERVATION of YMCA ACTIVITIES and to PROMOTE THE SPIRITUAL, INTELLECTUAL, SOCIAL and PHYSICAL WELFARE of PEOPLE IN THE TOWNS of SOUTHINGTON (INCLUDING MARION, MILLDALE, and PLANTSVILLE) and CHESHIRE.THE ASSOCIATIONS MISSION is to PUT CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES INTO PRACTICE THROUGH PROGRAMS THAT BUILD HEALTHY SPIRIT, MIND and BODY for ALL. WE ASSIST PEOPLE IN LEARNING CHARACTER-BUILDING SKILLS, I.E. CARING, HONESTY, RESPECT and RESPONSIBILITY THAT WILL ENRICH THEIR LIVES, HELP THEM to GROW and to REALIZE THEIR FULL POTENTIAL.THE YMCA is A MEMBERSHIP ASSOCIATION of MEN, WOMEN and CHILDREN of ALL AGES, ABILITIES, INCOMES, RACES and RELIGIONS. WE ARE DEDICATED to NURTURING THE POTENTIAL of YOUTH and TEENS, IMPROVING THE NATIONS HEALTH and WELL-BEING and PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES to SUPPORT OUR COMMUNITY NEIGHBORS.
