Line 28: Line 28: Oversight of 1 Week of Construction Work By 14 Volunteers On A Service Trip to Columbia, South Carolina. We Worked On A Trailer Belonging to A Mother Using A Wheelchair and Her 5 Year Old Daughter; We Replaced The Trailer Roof and Replaced Floors and Walls Damaged By Flooding. The Second House We Worked On Was In Close to Irreparable Condition But Was The Only Remaining Possession of A Man With Mental Health Issues. We Started Making Repairs to The House But Had to Leave It Unfinished for The Next Group of Volunteers. One of The Volunteers On The Trip Was A Former Construction Intern, Who Had Received Training From ServCorps When He Was In The YouthBuild Hartford Program. Management Estimates That A Total of 560 Hours of Work Were Donated.
