UH is ISRAELS LARGEST INDEPENDENT, NON-PROFIT VOLUNTEER EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE THAT SERVES ANYONE IN NEED of CARE, ENTIRELY for FREE. UHS MISSION is to SAVE LIVES IN ISRAEL, and AT TIMES AROUND THE WORLD, BY RESPONDING to MEDICAL EMERGENCIES WITHIN THE FIRST CRITICAL MINUTES of A MEDICAL CRISIS. THEIR 8,000+ VOLUNTEERS - INCLUDING EMTS, PARAMEDICS, DOCTORS and OTHER SPECIALISTS - PROVIDE LIFESAVING MEDICAL CARE ON THE SCENE, PRIOR to THE ARRIVAL of AN AMBULANCE.
