IN A TYPICAL 3T WORKSHOP, TEACHING ARTISTS LEAD THEATER GAMES, CREATIVE WRITING PROMPTS, and PERFORMANCE EXERCISES DESIGNED to BUILD CONFIDENCE, COMMUNICATION SKILLS, and SAFETY IN SELF-EXPRESSION. YOUNG PEOPLE ARE INVITED to WRITE SCENES, POEMS, or SONGS and THEN SEE THEIR WORDS IMMEDIATELY BROUGHT to LIFE BY PROFESSIONAL ARTISTS-AN EXPERIENCE THAT AFFIRMS THE VALUE of THEIR VOICES and LIVED EXPERIENCES.IN THE 2024-25 SCHOOL YEAR, WE LED 22 WORKSHOPS AT OUTREACH HOUSE IN RIDGEWOOD, SERVING YOUTH AGES 13-20 FACING SUBSTANCE ABUSE CHALLENGES and INCARCERATION-RELATED RESTRICTIONS. AT RESTART EAGLE ACADEMY IN HARLEM, WE BROUGHT 21 WORKSHOPS, REACHING STUDENTS AGES 14-17 WHO ARE ACADEMICALLY UNDER-CREDITED
