What they do

We Partner With Our Sister Organization "Amigos De Jesus" In Andahuaylas, Peru to Serve 30+ Women Through A Micro-loan Program. We Provide Guidance, Emotional Support, and A Place to Meet Monthly to Discuss Business Issues/opportunities. We Also Serve Regular Meals for 10 Children and Young Adults. We Provide Occasional Meals and Celebrations 50+ Young Adults. We Also Have Bible Studies for Those Young Adults and Guests. We Open Up The Facility to Local Churches for Services and Occasional Retreats. We Currently Provide 1 On 1 Support for Those With Complex Trauma With The Goal to Have Support Group Meeting Regularly. Our Budget is Primarly for Utilities, Food, and Administrative Staff. While Some Staff Participate In These Programs, We Dont Allocate Their Time to Them. We Try to Get Volunteers From The Community and Churches As Much As Possible. We Are New and Seem to Take 2 Steps Forward and 1 Step Back. It is A Challenge to Get The Staff to Reach Out Into The Community and Churches

Easy charity check
We do not have enough spending detail

Basic public information is available, but it is not enough to judge how well donations are used. Ask the charity for a current spending breakdown and results.

Plain answer: A tax form cannot prove that a charity is doing good. It can show how the charity says it spent its money—and point out questions you should ask.

Money made simple

$100.91spent for every $100 of revenueSpending was higher than revenue this year.
$0.14in assets for every $1 spent this yearSome assets cannot be spent right away.
100.0%of its money came from giftsOther money may come from services or investments.

Ask these three easy questions

  1. Who did you help? Ask for a recent story or report that shows real results.
  2. What will my money do? Ask exactly what your gift will pay for.
  3. Is this really the charity? Give only through its official website or confirmed phone number.

Worth asking: Expenses exceeded revenue by $594 this year. Ask whether that was planned or caused by a one-time event.

Bottom line: Do not decide from a name, mission statement, or tax status alone. Look at where the money went, then ask what changed, who was helped, and what your gift will do. YouCanGiveBack does not endorse or grade organizations.
