CHILDREN ARE PROVIDED CAMP EXPERIENCES, SUCH AS ARCHERY, BOATING and CRAFTS WHILE PARENTS/CAREGIVERS HAVE THAT TIME for RESPITE to PURSUE THEIR OWN INTERESTS. THE FAMILIES ALSO GET to ENJOY SWIMMING, BOATING, or OFF CAMPUS ACTIVITIES TOGETHER. CAMPERS ARE SUPPORTED IN A RESPECT-BASED MANNER, BY COUNSELORS and STAFF WHO USE PROACTIVE SENSORY STRATEGIES and VISUAL SUPPORTS. THROUGH INTENTIONAL PROGRAMMING, CAMPERS ARE ABLE to TRY NEW ACTIVITIES, LEARN NEW SKILLS, and ENGAGE WITH PEERS. IN 2025, WE SERVED 300 PARTICIPANTS (FROM 86 FAMILIES) THROUGH 4 FAMILY CAMPS.
