WITH MORE THAN 17 YEARS of SUCCESS, OUR OUTREACH PROGRAM is PROUD to PROVIDE FREE MUSIC CLASS PROGRAMMING IN CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTERS, PRE-K PROGRAMS and NURSERY SCHOOLS IN THE WASHINGTON, D.C./BALTIMORE METRO AREAS. SPECIFICALLY, WE PROVIDE MOBILE, EARLY CHILDHOOD MUSIC CLASSES to CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTERS THAT SERVE LOW- INCOME, MARGINALIZED DIVERSE COMMUNITIES. THESE CENTERS INCLUDE HEAD START CENTERS, JUDY CENTERS and OTHER CENTERS THAT SERVE UNDER-RESOURCED POPULATIONS. CHERRY CHILDRENS MUSIC OUTREACH OFFERS THESE CLASSES AT NO CHARGE to THE CHILDREN, FAMILIES or CENTERS. WE PROVIDE ALL INSTRUMENTS and PROPS NEEDED for OUR CLASSES. EARLY CHILDHOOD MUSIC EDUCATION HAS LONG BEEN KNOWN AS AN EFFECTIVE TOOL to ENHANCE THE LEARNING of LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICS, MEMORY SKILLS and MNEMONICS, MOTOR SKILLS, and AS A PREPARATION for ELEMENTARY SCHOOL and A CHILDS ACADEMIC CAREER . WE CONDUCT OUR PROGRAMS IN 19 HEAD START, JUDY and CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTERS IN FOUR MARYLAND COUNTIES- ANNE ARUND
