THE COASTAL PLAIN RURAL HEALTH NETWORK (CPRHN) is A VERTICAL NETWORK THAT SERVES CLARENDON, FLORENCE, MARION, SUMTER and WILLIAMSBURG COUNTIES THROUGH PROJECTS and PROGRAMS THAT INCREASE HEALTH AWARENESS and ACCESS to MEDICAL CARE. WITH PAST SUPPORT FROM THE DUKE ENDOWMENT, PASOS THE NETWORK ENSURES THAT PATIENT POPULATIONS GET THE NECESSARY EDUCATION, SCREENINGS and NAVIGATION THROUGH THE COMPLICATED HEALTHCARE SETTING. THE CPRHN WAS ORGANIZED WITH THE FINANCIAL and TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE of THE SOUTH CAROLINA OFFICE of RURAL HEALTH (SCORH). THIS NETWORK is ONE of SIX NETWORKS DEVELOPED THROUGHOUT SOUTH CAROLINA and SCORH. SCORH is A 501 (C) (3) ORGANIZATION DEDICATED to IMPROVING ACCESS to QUALITY HEALTHCARE IN RURAL COMMUNITIES ACROSS SOUTH CAROLINA. THE CPRHN PARTICIPATES IN A VARIETY of HEALTH RELATED EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR SUCH AS; HEALTH FAIRS, HEALTH SCREENINGS, EDUCATION FORUMS, FOCUS GROUPS and COMMUNITY OUTREACH.DURING 2018 THE CPRHN OFFERED THE FOLLOWING PROGRAM SERVICES
