What they do
The Academic Zone is A Volunteer Based Community That Provides An Educational Opportunity Through Sports, The Arts, and Science. We Support Parents and Students As They Navigate The Middle School, High School, and College Application Process. We Accept 30 New Students and Their Families Annually. The Zone Provides An Opportunity for Children to Give Back Through Community Service. Our Scholar Must Do Some Type of Community Annually. We Provide An Opportunity for Our Scholars to Be Exposed to Non Traditional Sports Such As Fencing, Golf, and Tennis. This Summer Institute Will Role Out Our Basketball Institute. We Will Bridge The Academic Gap of Summer Through Basketball. It is Our Feeling That Everyone is Not Going to The NBA. We Have Created A Six Module Curriculum and Students Will Get A Feel for Other Aspects That Make Professional Sports Happen.
