THE NEW BRITAIN-BERLIN YMCA is A VOLUNTEER LED PUBLIC CHARITY THAT INCLUDES MEN, WOMEN and CHILDREN of ALL AGES, ABILITIES, INCOMES, RACES and RELIGIONS. OUR MISSION is to PUT THE CORE VALUES of CARING, HONESTY and RESPECT INTO PRACTICE THROUGH OUR PROGRAMS. THE YMCA is ABOUT BUILDING A HEALTHY SPIRIT, MIND and BODY for ALL. THE YMCA is SO MUCH MORE THAN JUST A GYM. for OVER 130 YEARS WE HAVE BEEN BUILDING BETTER and STRONGER COMMUNITIES. NO ONE is TURNED AWAY for THEIR INABILITY to PAY. OUR STRENGTH is IN THE PEOPLE WE BRING TOGETHER to CREATE OUR YMCA FAMILY. OUR VOLUNTEERS and STAFF WORK to INCORPORATE THE AREAS of YOUTH DEVELOPMENT, HEALTHY LIVING and SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY INTO ALL of OUR PROGRAMS.
