THE FOUNDATIONS MISSION IS TO ASSIST AND BRING TOGETHER THE 105 UNBORN CHILDREN THAT LOST A PARENT ON SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 AS A RESULT OF THE TERRORIST ATTACK IN NEW YORK, PENNSYLVANIA AND WASHINGTON, D.C. THE PROGRAM EVENTS HELD FOR THE CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES HAVE HELPED THE CHILDREN FORM A BOND AND BECOME FRIENDS WITH OTHERS THAT ARE IN THIS UNIQUE SITUATION AND TO REALIZE THEY ARE NOT ALONE IN THEIR LOSS. THE FOUNDATION WAS NOT ABLE TO LOCATE ALL OF THE FAMILIES BUT WAS SUCCESSFUL IN FINDING APPROXIMATELY 80, THROUGH THE ASSISTANCE OF ABC NEWS. THESE EVENTS MAY ONLY BE ATTENDED BY ELIGIBLE FAMILIES OF WHICH APPROXIMATELY 60 FAMILIES HAVE PREVIOUSLY ATTENDED ANNUALLY.

Basic public information is available, but it is not enough to judge how well donations are used. Ask the charity for a current spending breakdown and results.
Plain answer: A tax form cannot prove that a charity is doing good. It can show how the charity says it spent its money—and point out questions you should ask.

Money made simple
Ask these three easy questions
- Who did you help? Ask for a recent story or report that shows real results.
- What will my money do? Ask exactly what your gift will pay for.
- Is this really the charity? Give only through its official website or confirmed phone number.
Worth asking: Expenses exceeded revenue this year. Ask whether that was planned or caused by a one-time event. The complete report shows the exact difference and financial history.
Bottom line: Do not decide from a name, mission statement, or tax status alone. Look at where the money went, then ask what changed, who was helped, and what your gift will do. YouCanGiveBack does not endorse or grade organizations.
