What they do
Scholarships & Awards. We Provide Both Renewable and Non-renewable Scholarships to High School Students In Mercer & Hunterdon Counties (not Including Princeton), As Well As Awards for Outstanding Chemistry Majors At The Local Four-year and Community Colleges. This Year We Awarded Scholarships to 7 Students ($9,100). We Also Jointly Give An Award for "best Chemistry Teacher" In These Areas, With The Princeton Section of The ACS, Although Our Monetary Share of The Expenses for This Award ($300) Was Waived In Turn for Administering The USNCO Competition. These Scholarships and Awards Were Determined By An Extensive Nomination Process. We Also Provided Awards to The College Chemistry Societies ($200) Which Likely Serves 25-50 College Students. All of The Awardees, Their Families, and Members of The Local Chemistry Community Are Invited to Our Annual Awards Banquet to Celebrate These Accomplishments ($3,211).
