UPHS ALSO PROVIDES CARE to PATIENTS, WHO DO NOT HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE or MEET THE CRITERIA to QUALIFY for ITS CHARITY CARE POLICY, and CERTAIN AMOUNTS CHARGED for SUCH SERVICES ARE DEEMED to BE UNCOLLECTIBLE. THE ORGANIZATION WAS DISSOLVED EFFECTIVE 6/20/2024.
