BERKS AREA YOUTH RECREATION HAS BEEN NURTURING and SUPPORTING THE COMMUNITYS YOUTH. ALL THE PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED WITH THEIR BEST INTEREST IN MIND. WE PROVIDE OUR YOUTH WITH THE SKILLS THEY NEED to THRIVE IN OUR COMMUNITY =. WE HAVE A VARIETY of PROGRAMS THAT ARE AVAILABLE to ALL. THEY OPERATE THE SUNSHINE ACADEMY, A FULLY ACCREDITED and LICENSED PRESCHOOL PROGRAM for CHILDREN AGES 3 to 5. THE PROGRAM is DESIGNED to PROVIDE CHILDREN WITH EARLY LITERACY, MATH, SCIENCE SOCIAL STUDIES, HEALTH and PHYSICAL EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE. THERE is A BEFORE and AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES SERVICES to THE RESIDENTS of WILSON and GOVERNOR MIFFLIN SCHOOL DISTRICTS. THE PROGRAM INCLUDES COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT, PROJECTS, FIELD TRIPS and FRIENDSHIP. THERE is A SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM for AGES IN PRESCHOOL THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL. THEY HAVE CONTRIBUTED to THE DEVELOPMENT of CHILDREN IN THE GREATER BERKS COUNTY AREA THROUGH A WIDE RANGE ENVIRONMENTAL CAMP PROGRAMS.
