LIFE SKILLS EDUCATION is INTEGRATED INTO GOLF and TENNIS INSTRUCTION to HELPCHILDREN BUILD SELF-ESTEEM, DEVELOP SELF-DISCIPLINE, GAIN A SENSE of INDIVIDUAL ACHIEVEMENT and HANDLE SUCCESS and FAILURE. EYD GOES BEYOND TRADITIONAL RECREATIONAL SPORTS PROGRAMS, USING SPORTS AS A HOOK to ADDRESS PHYSIOLOGICAL, SOCIAL, COGNITIVE and BEHAVIORAL NEEDS.PARTICIPANTS LEARN HOW CORE VALUES SUCH AS RESPONSIBILITY, HONESTY,RESPECT, and SPORTSMANSHIP CAN HELP THEM BECOME BETTER PEOPLE ON and OFF THE COURT or COURSE. PARTICIPANTS ALSO LEARN THE IMPORTANCE OFEXERCISE and EATING IN A HEALTHY WAY. YOUTH LEARN LIFE SKILLS THEY CAN USE FOREVER and SPORTS THEY CAN PLAY for A LIFETIME!
