ALL BREED TRAINING CLUB OF AKRON INCORPORATED
EIN 23-7042981 · Animal Training (D61)
What they do
OUR YEARLY ACTIVITIES INCLUDE A RALLY and OBEDIENCE TRIAL EACH MAY. THE TRIAL is RUN IN ACCORDANCE WITH GUIDELINES FROM THE AKC and is OPEN to ANYONE, MEMBERS and NONMEMBERS ALIKE. OUR TRAINING CLASSES ARE GENERALLY SIX WEEK SESSIONS WHERE MEMBERS MEET ONCE A WEEK to TRAIN IN A SPECIFIC AREA, OBEDIENCE, RALLY, ETC. INSTRUCTORS ARE EITHER MEMBERS or INDEPENDENT CONTRACT INSTRUCTORS. WE ENCOURAGE OUR MEMBERS to PARTICIPATE IN and SUPPORT DOG SHOWS, MATCHES, OBEDIENCE TESTS, FIELD TRIALS, and OTHER DOG EXHIBITIONS OUTSIDE of THE CLUB. WHEN MEMBERS EXCEL AT THOSE EVENTS and EARN TITLES, THEY ARE HONORED AT THE ANNUAL MEMBER APPRECIATION and AWARDS BANQUET IN APRIL. OCCASIONALLY, WE HAVE EVENTS for OUR MEMBERS INCLUDING A COSTUME PARTY ON HALLOWEEN or A SUMMER PICNIC. FINALLY, WE ARE VERY INVOLVED IN THE COMMUNITY. WE SUPPORT A LOCAL PET FOOD PANTRY BY RAISING MONEY AT EVENTS LIKE PHOTOS WITH SANTA, WHERE PEOPLE PAY A SMALL FEE or BRING PET FOOD, and HAVE A PHOTO TAKEN WITH THEIR DOG and SA
Should I give to this charity?
Basic public information is available, but it is not enough to judge how well donations are used. Ask the charity for a current spending breakdown and results.
Plain answer: A tax form cannot prove that a charity is doing good. It can show how the charity says it spent its money—and point out questions you should ask.

Money made simple
Ask these three easy questions
- Who did you help? Ask for a recent story or report that shows real results.
- What will my money do? Ask exactly what your gift will pay for.
- Is this really the charity? Give only through its official website or confirmed phone number.
Worth asking: Expenses exceeded revenue by $3,034 this year. Ask whether that was planned or caused by a one-time event.
Bottom line: Do not decide from a name, mission statement, or tax status alone. Look at where the money went, then ask what changed, who was helped, and what your gift will do. YouCanGiveBack does not endorse or grade organizations.
