IT is ALSO INVOLVED IN SCHOOL READINESS, WORKFORCE and ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, PREVENTION INITIATIVE, and RELATIONSHIP-BASED COMMUNITY ORGANIZING PROGRAM.DURING THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2020, THE CENTER RECEIVED FUNDS FROM UNITED WAY, LA COUNTY and VARIOUS CORPORATIONS. THESE FUNDS WERE USED to DISTRIBUTE FOOD IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD, PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AS WELL AS MASKS and FACE SHIELDS to RESIDENTS IMPACTED BY COVID-19.
