What they do

He Purpose of Yuba County Mounted Sheriffs Posse is to Provide Search and Rescue Services At The Discretion of The Yuba County Sheriffs Department, for Yuba County and The State of California. The Team Provides Services Such As Lost/missing Person Searches, Evidentiary Searches, and Rescues Throughout The State of California On A Mutual Aid Basis But Has Primary Duties and Responsibilities In Yuba County. The Team May Be Called Upon to Assist The Yuba County Sheriffs Department In Times of Declared Emergencies or Disasters.(a) Uphold and Defend The Constitution of The United States of America, The State of California, The County of Yuba, and The Cities Therein;(b) Assist The Yuba County Sheriff With Search and Rescue;(c) Promote Good Will Between The Yuba County Sheriffs Department (Department) and The Local Communities; And,(d) Assist The Department In Times of Declared Emergencies or Disasters.This We Do, Because Everyone Deserves to Be Found.
