What they do
THE MISSION of THE CARDIAC KIDS FOUNDATION is to PROVIDE ASSISTANCE to FAMILIES and THEIR CHILDREN WITH HEART DISEASE. SUPPORT is PROVIDED IN THE FORM of FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE to THOSE FAMILIES WHO CANNOT AFFORD PRESCRIPTION MEDICATIONS and RELATED TRAVEL EXPENSES for THE FAMILIES of HOSPITALIZED CHILDREN. A PORTION of OUR ASSISTANCE GOES BEYOND FINANCIAL and INVOLVES ACTUAL SURGERIES, TRAINING, EDUCATION, and EQUIPMENT SUPPLIED to COMMUNITIES WHO OTHERWISE WOULD NOT HAVE THIS AVAILABLE to THEM. for EXAMPLE, OUR YEARLY JAMAICAN MISSION TRIP, HEADED UP BY DR. JEFFREY JACOBS and HIS TEAM is CURRENTLY RESPONSIBLE for SAVING COUNTLESS LIVES THROUGH HIS EFFORTS. THE LARRY KING CARDIAC FOUNDATION HAS BEEN A HUGE SUPPORTER of THESE ANNUAL TRIPS.

Money made simple
Ask these three easy questions
- Who did you help? Ask for a recent story or report that shows real results.
- What will my money do? Ask exactly what your gift will pay for.
- Is this really the charity? Give only through its official website or confirmed phone number.
Bottom line: Do not decide from a name, mission statement, or tax status alone. Look at where the money went, then ask what changed, who was helped, and what your gift will do. YouCanGiveBack does not endorse or grade organizations.
