THE ALLEGHENY LEAGUE of MUNICIPALITIES (LEAGUE) WAS CREATED to PROMOTE INTERGOVERNMENTAL CO-OPERATION BETWEEN THE COUNTY of ALLEGHENY and ITS 130 MUNICIPALITIES BY PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL and INFORMATIONAL SERVICES. THE LEAGUE PROVIDES A VARIETY of EDUCATIONAL SERVICES and PROGRAMS THAT BENEFIT THESE MUNICIPALITIES and ALLOWS THEM to OPERATE IN A MORE EFFICIENT and EFFECTIVE MANNER. IN ADDITION, THE LEAGUE MANAGES A NON-PROFIT CONSULTING SERVICE for THE BENEFIT of ITS MEMBERSHIP. THE PROGRAM is DESIGNED to PAIR A QUALIFIED MUNICIPAL ADMINISTRATOR, GENERALLY IN A PART-TIME or CASUAL CAPACITY to ASSIST THE MUNICIPALITY WITH JOB SEARCHES, TALENT ACQUISITION, STRATEGIC PLANNING and ORGANIZATIONAL ANALYSIS to FOSTER BEST PRACTICES IN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ADMINISTRATION.
