IN TURN, CYSA is A MEMBER of US YOUTH SOCCER ASSOCIATION (USYSA), THE GOVERNING BODY for COMPETITIVE YOUTH SOCCER IN THE USA. USYSA OPERATES OLYMPIC DEVELOPMENT TEAMS. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION THIS PAST YEAR HAS SENT ITS TEAMS to SEVERAL SOCCER TOURNAMENTS INCLUDING LEAGUE CUP & STATE CUP. INSTRUCTION/PRACTICES ARE HELD AT LOCAL SCHOOLS UNDER PERMIT FROM THE LAS VIRGENES SCHOOL DISTRICT. ALL BOARD MEMBERS ARE VOLUNTEERS. THE ORGANIZATION CHARGES A MODEST REGISTRATION FEE to ITS STUDENTS/PLAYERS IN COMPARISON to OTHER ORGANIZATIONS.
