BWF FOCUSES ON CENTRAL HEALTHCARE ISSUES AS WELL AS ON WELLNESS PROGRAMS THAT SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGE HEALTHY LIFESTYLES, EARLY TESTING AND PREVENTATIVE MEASURES. WORK HAS BEGUN WITH THE JOHNS HOPKINS BLOOMBERG SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH TO CREATE A COMPREHENSIVE NATIONAL WELLNESS STRATEGY FOR BERMUDA. DR. MALCOLM BROCK, A MEMBER OF OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS, IS LEADING THE INITIATIVE ALONG WITH A TASK FORCE OF HEALTH PROFESSIONALS, LOCAL HEALTH PROVIDERS AND OTHER KEY STAKEHOLDERS. PHASE I OF THIS EFFORT IS TO COLLECT THE DATA REQUIRED TO FULLY UNDERSTAND THE ISSUES TO BE ADDRESSED. IN ADDITION, BWF HAS SUPPORTED THE BERMUDA HOSPITAL REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT.
