MONTOURSVILLE AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT FOUNDATION
EIN 26-1097736 · Single Organization Support (A11)
What they do
The Montoursville Area School District Foundation (MASDF) Was Able to Provide $49,952 In Educational Improvement Funding to The Montoursville Area School District to Establish Technical Theater Lighting. With The 2021 Contributions From MASDF, The District Was Able to Secure A Spotlight and 4 Motorized Lights to Be Used In Both The Main Stage of The Auditorium and The Black Box Theater. The Hardware to Mount These Devices As Well As Use Them Independent of Suspending Them Gives The Theater Program Great Flexibility. This Project Will Be Completed In Multiple Steps, The Next Phase Will Be The Truss Work to Support The Lights In The Black Box Theater. This Will Allow for Some Flexibility to Move Existing Lights From The Main Stage to The Black Box Theater As Needed. This Will Allow The District to Begin Offering A Technical Theater Course In The Near Future.
Should I give to this charity?
Basic public information is available, but it is not enough to judge how well donations are used. Ask the charity for a current spending breakdown and results.
Plain answer: A tax form cannot prove that a charity is doing good. It can show how the charity says it spent its money—and point out questions you should ask.

Money made simple
Ask these three easy questions
- Who did you help? Ask for a recent story or report that shows real results.
- What will my money do? Ask exactly what your gift will pay for.
- Is this really the charity? Give only through its official website or confirmed phone number.
Bottom line: Do not decide from a name, mission statement, or tax status alone. Look at where the money went, then ask what changed, who was helped, and what your gift will do. YouCanGiveBack does not endorse or grade organizations.
