Core Events: In 2023, We Hosted 12 Monthly Academy Teachings Taught By Established Buddhist Teachers and Attended By 50 to 100 Participants Per Online Event. These Dharma Teachings Were Offered Through The Lens of Recovery and Shared Practices That Helped Participants Establish and Maintain Healthy Recovery From Addictive Behaviors. In 2023, We Offered Weekly Buddhist Recovery Sampler Meetings Hosted By Various Buddhist Recovery Groups, Including A Recurring BIPOC Affinity 8-Step Recovery Group. Through These Sampler Meetings, Community Members Connected With Others for Support, With Intention to Find The Right Buddhist Recovery Group With Whom They Could Sustain Regular Meetings On A Long-term Basis. Recovery Meeting Participants May Have Come Once or Returned Week After Week. Each Peer-led Meeting Had 5-10 Participants On Average.
