A RESCUE and SANCTUARY FACILITY, WE ACCEPT ABUSED, NEGLECTED and ABANDONED ANIMALS, MOSTLY EQUINE, FROM DIFFERENT AGENCIES and INDIVIDUALS. ANIMALS HAVE INCLUDED DOGS, GOATS, SHEEP & LLAMAS. LCAR PROVIDES NUTRITIONAL and MEDICAL CARE AS WELL AS PERSONAL CARE and THERAPY for BOTH MIND and BODY to REHABILITATE THE ANIMALS. MOSTLY A EQUINE FACILITY, OUR GOAL is to REHABILITATE THEM for ADPOTION BY APPROVED INDIVIDUALS, or OFFER A PLACE of PERMANENT RETIREMENT for THOSE HORSES THAT ARE NOT SUITABLE for ADOPTION. WE ALSO OFFER INFORMATION to HELP THE PUBLIC UNDERSTAND THE PROPER CARE NEEDED to BE A RESPONSIBLE OWNER.
