What they do

The JACK Quartet Operates As A 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization Called JACK Music Inc. Under The Artistic Direction of The Quartet, The Organizations Mission is to Present, Promote, and Educate The Public Community About New Music As Well As Expand and Enhance The Depth of The String Quartet Repertoire By Collaborating With Composers On The Interpretation of Existing Works and The Commissioning of New Works.To Achieve The Goals Set Forth In This Mission Statement, JACKs Core Programming Approach Comprises Three Initiatives: Performance, Educational Residencies, and The Creation and Development of New Music. Through Performance, We Bring to Life The Work of Todays Most Important Composers and Seek to Inspire Audiences to Explore (and Even Embrace) The Unfamiliar. We Program Music That We Hope Will Challenge, Invigorate, and Broaden The Aesthetic Horizons of All Listeners.
