THROUGH MEMBERSHIP AND GENERAL CONTRIBUTIONS, FUND RAISERS, AND AN ANNUAL JAZZARET PROGRAM, THE ORGANIZATION WAS ABLE TO CARRY OUT ITS EXEMPT PURPOSE THROUGH THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS: SPONSOR THE RECEPTIONS THAT FOLLOWED VARIOUS MUSIC RECITALS AND CONCERTS PERFORMED AT THE DISTRICTS SCHOOLS; PAY THE REGISTRATION FEES FOR MUSIC STUDENTS AND MUSIC FACULTY TO ATTEND MUSIC FESTIVALS; PAY THE CHAPTER ACTIVATION FEE AND PROVIDE SUPPLIES FOR THE SHAKER HIGH SCHOOL CHAPTER OF THE TRI-M SOCIETY; SPONSOR THE JOHN MALTHOUSE SERVICE AWARD, LINDA WAGNER PERFORMANCE AWARD, AND ZACH WARNER AWARD FOR HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS; PURCHASE BLANKETS AS GIFTS FOR ALL HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS WHO ARE PERSUEING MUSIC AS THEIR MAJOR IN COLLEGE; PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR THE JUNIOR HIGH MUSIC DEPARTMENT FIELD TRIP; PURCHASE EQ
