ALSO BASED IN MACON, THE FIRE STARTERS FILM FESTIVAL FOCUSES ON SHOWCASING FILM and VISUAL ART MADE BY INDIGENOUS FILMMAKERS, WITH A PARTICULAR EMPHASIS ON THE MUSCOGEE (CREEK) NATION EXPERIENCE. THE FESTIVALS OFFICIAL SELECTION SCREENINGS BEGAN FRIDAY MORNING AT THE MUSEUM of ARTS and SCIENCES WITH A DAYLONG EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOP for CENTRAL GEORGIA HIGH SCHOOL JUNIORS and SENIORS. STUDENTS WERE INTRODUCED to THE FESTIVALS STUDENT SHORTS BLOCK (COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY) and AS WELL AS A COLLECTION of SELECTIONS FROM THE 2025 FULLDOM
