CVHEN is PART of THE CALIFORNIA TEACHERS COLLABORATIVE for GENOCIDE and HOLOCAUST EDUCATION. WITH OUR EXPERTISE and EXPERIENCE IN TEACHING ABOUT THE HOLOCAUST WE ARE DEVELOPING and PROVIDING CURRICULUM RESOURCES RELATED to GENOCIDE and HOLOCAUST EDUCATION BY PROVIDING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT INCLUDING EDUCATOR TRAINING ON GENOCIDE and THE HOLOCAUST. WE HOLD WORKSHOPS and PARTICIPATE IN A STATEWIDE SUMMER INSTITUTE REACHING OVER 150 EDUCATORS. WE COLLABORATE WITH THE COLLEGE of EDUCATION AT CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY SACRAMENTO IN PROVIDING A FOUNDATION IN HOLOCAUST EDUCATION to OVER 60 PRE-SERVICE TEACHERS. CVHEN COORDINATED TRAVEL and TRAINING of OVER 30 TEACHERS to THE MUSEUM of TOLERANCE. CVHEN COLLABORATED WITH THE CALIFORNIA HISTORY SOCIAL SCIENCE PROJECT ON A VIRTUAL HOLOCAUST WORKSHOP for 20 EDUCATORS.
