Although Presently Dormant, The Endangered Battlefield Defense Fund (EBDF) is A 501(c)(3) Organization Affiliated With The American Battlefield Trust (the Trust) Established To:- Assist The Trust In The Exercise and Enforcement of The Trusts Contractual and Legal Rights and Duties, Including But Not Limited to The Protection and Preservation of All Historic Property Owned By The Trust;- Enforce All Easement Rights Granted to The Trust or to Any Other Charitable or Historic Entity, Including The National Park Service, In Its or Their Efforts to Maintain and Preserve Historical Properties Related to The American Civil War; And- Enforce All Contractual Rights and Court Decrees or Judgments In Favor of The Trust or Any Other Charitable, Historic, or Public Entity Charged With The Preservation of Historical Property Relating to The Civil War.
