What they do
The Mission of Recycle A Bike is Educating, Empowering and Building Community By Connecting People and Bicycles. In The Past 3 Years, We Have Hosted or Supported Over A Dozen Community Bike Events and Distributed Nearly 400 Free Bikes to Low Income Children and Adults. In Addition, We Have Distributed Another 300 Additional Bikes to Other Bike Collectives That Provide Similar Community Services. We Also Partner With Other Organizations and Schools to Promote Bicycle Safety and Proper Bicycle Maintenance. Community Members Are Welcome In Our Bike Shop to Work On Their Own Bicycles, or to Earn A Bike / Replacement Parts By Volunteering Time to Help Our Organization.
