The Aberdeen Gem Trail Foundation Has Secured Funds Through Grants and Donations to Build A Five Mile Asphalt Trail for Non-motorized Use Along The Edge of Our Community. These Funds Are Used for Maintenance and Repair As Well. Many People Use This Trail Daily. Every Year Some of The Trail is Utilized for Two Fun Runs. Profit From Registration Fees Goes Directly to The Aberdeen Gem Trail Foundation. In 2024 A Grant Was Secured to Purchase Educational Signs to Be Installed Along The Trial. Asphalt Repair Was Done and Handicap Access Was Added to A Street That The City of Aberdeen Had Installed Curb and Gutter The Year Prior.
