Education and Providing A Brighter Future for Students Are Central to The Mission of The Kump Education Center. The Center Works With Local Elementary Schools to Identify Students Who Need Extra Help In Math and Reading and Provides Targeted Tutoring to Help Them Meet Grade-level Standards. Tutors Are High School and College Students Who Connect Well With Younger Learners. Programs Such As Math Magic Combine Tutoring, Meals, and Enrichment Activities In A Supportive After-school Environment. The Annual Cost of The Program is Approximately $5,000. The Kump Education Center Also Offers Summer Educational Programs That Benefit Both Children and Parents. In Partnership With The YMCA Summer Day Camp, Children Visit The Historic Kump House Weekly for Educational Activities and Special Events. Additional Programs Include A Spanish Language and Culture Camp and A Fun Learning Camp Designed to Reinforce Skills Learned During The School Year.
