THE ASSOCIATION HAS 900 MEMBERS WHO COMPETE IN A LEAGUE TWO NIGHTS A WEEK. THE LEAGUES ARE MANAGED and OPERATED BY THE ASSOCIATIONS BOARD and OFFICERS. LEAGUE COMMISSIONERS ARE DESIGNATED to MANAGE and OVERSEE THEIR APPLICABLE LEAGUES. THEY ESTABLISH TEAMS and SCHEDULE GAMES and REFEREES. THE BROADER BOARD and OTHER OFFICERS PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INPUT and DIRECTION. THE ASSOCIATION is FUNDED ENTIRELY BY MEMBERSHIP DUES. THIS ACTIVITY is AT THE HEART of THE ASSOCIATIONS PURPOSE of PROMOTING and DEVELOPING RECREATIONAL HOCKEY OPPORTUNITIES for ADULTS IN CENTRAL IOWA.
