After A Quiet Previous Three Years Due to The Pandemic and Our Founder Having A Baby, We Restarted Our Programming Again In 2023. We Had Two Free Public Presentations of Our Work In Progress Called "Antonym: The Opposite of Nostalgia," The First Held At Gibney In New York City and The Second At High Concept Labs In Chicago. "Antonym" is An Interdisciplinary Performance Peace That Interweaves Music and Movement and Reflects On A Filipinx American Childhood. Both Presentations Were Well-attended By Diverse Audiences. In December, We Held A Cultural Gathering Called "ibang Gabi," A Filipinx Holiday Party In Chinatown, NYC. Tickets Were Affordable, At A Sliding Scale of $10-40. Food and Beverages Were Included In The Ticket Price. We Invited Local Indigenous Filipinx Dance and Music Ensemble Kinding Sindaw to Perform. Our Founder, Sugar Vendil Performed As Well. We Featured Food By A Local Filipinx Chef.
