2025 Accomplishment Peru Maternal-Newborn Health Training - During The Week of May 9 - 17, 2025, Eight (8) "Trainers and Nineteen (19) Humanitarians, Including Six (6) Students, Three (3) Doctors, A Nurse, A Physician Assistant, and Two (2) Nurse Anesthetists From The U.S. Provided Free Medical Training to More Than 150 Maternal-Newborn Health Professionals/Obstetras In Abancay (75), Cusco (85), Peru, On Issues and Problems Associated With Pregnancy, Labor, Delivery, and Recovery From Childbirth. Topics Included Post-partum Hemorrhage, Perineal Repair, Difficult Deliveries, Newborn Resuscitation, and Hypertension. We Donated Items for Local Trainers to Train Many Others. Donated Time Included More Than 80 Hours Combined. While The Medical Trainers Provided Hands-on Workshops, Oa Activities With The School Children and Provided Supplies and Food Stuffs to The Children In The Orphanage.
