The Foundation Strives to Increase The Number of Oakland Students Enrolled In Institutions of Higher Learning By Providing Financial Support to Students Who Demonstrate Academic Excellence and Financial Need. Our Goal is to Reduce The Monetary Burdens That Students Face In Their Pursuit of Higher Education. Thus Removing One of The Deterents to Seeking Higher Education. Those Who Graduate From High School or Transfer From A Community College and Want to Further Their Education Can Apply for A Scholarship After Meeting Specific Criteria and Completion of An Application Process.
