EIN 27-4644697 · Substance Abuse Prevention (F21)
What they do
In 2025 The Gateway House Served 9 Women. We Can House 4 to 5 Women At The Most At One Time. The Women Can Stay As Long As Needed In This Re-entry Phase of Rehabilitation From Substance Use Disorder. Some Are Court Ordered to Stay for A Year, Some Stay Six Months, Some Less. In 2025, We Had One Resident for Most of The Year, One for Six Months, One for Only 60 Days. This Doesnt Allow Us to Minister to As Many Women As If We Only Allowed Them to Stay for A Specific Period of Time. The Women Attend Recovery Groups, Church Services, Are Transported to Probation or Parole Requirements, Receive Mental Health Evaluations and Services, Medical Needs Are Met, They Are Taken to The Department of Human Services to See About SNAP and Other Benefits for Which They May Qualify. Upon Obtaining Employment The Ladies Are Transported to and From Work As Needed. We Celebrate With Them As They Meet Goals and Become Ready to Live Independently Again In Their Own Apartment or Home Setting. Nine Women Lived

Money made simple
Ask these three easy questions
- Who did you help? Ask for a recent story or report that shows real results.
- What will my money do? Ask exactly what your gift will pay for.
- Is this really the charity? Give only through its official website or confirmed phone number.
Bottom line: Do not decide from a name, mission statement, or tax status alone. Look at where the money went, then ask what changed, who was helped, and what your gift will do. YouCanGiveBack does not endorse or grade organizations.
