MEMBERSHIP is OPEN to ALL PHYSICIANS ON THE MEDICAL STAFF of UPMC MCKEESPORT. THE PURPOSE of THE ORGANIZATION is to PROVIDE SUPPORT for THE CONTINUING EDUCATION, HEALTH PROGRAMS, and PROFESSIONAL RECOGNITION of MEDICAL STAFF, MEDICAL INTERNS, and RESIDENTS ROTATING for TRAINING THROUGH THE HOSPITAL, NURSING STAFF, and OTHER MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS ASSOCIATED WITH UPMC MCKEESPORT. SUPPORT is PROVIDED THROUGH PROFESSIONAL FUNDING, EITHER to THE MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS DIRECTLY, or to UPMC MCKEESPORT and ITS RELATED 501(C)(3) FOUNDATION, for EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS, CLASSES, CONFERENCES, and OTHER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES. THESE ACTIVITIES ARE INTENDED to ENSURE THAT MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS MAINTAIN THE HIGHEST LEVEL of CLINICAL EXPERTISE IN ORDER to PROVIDE THE HIGHEST STAN
