THESE MATCHES ARE BETWEEN MATURE and RESPONSIBLE MEN EXCLUSIVELY to BOYS, and MATURE and RESPONSIBLE WOMEN to GIRLS AND, IN SOME CIRCUMSTANCES, to BOYS WHO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM. THE MATCHES ARE PROVIDED to YOUTH WHO COULD BENEFIT FROM A WHOLESOME ADULT RELATIONSHIP THAT is SUPPLEMENTAL to THAT WHICH is USUALLY PROVIDED BY PARENTS. RELATIONSHIPS ARE INTENDED to PROVIDE COMPANIONSHIP and GUIDANCE to HELP ASSURE THE PROPER MORAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL, INTELLECTUAL, VOCATIONAL, and PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT of THE PARTICIPATING BOYS and GIRLS.
