THE MEMBERS of THE LAURELVILLE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT, DO HERE BY CREATE THIS ASSOCIATION of Its MEMBERS. THIS ORGANIZATION WILL BE CALLED THE "LAURELVILLE VOLUNTEER FIREMENS ASSOCIATION". THIS is DONE WITH HOPES of BENEFITING THE PEOPLE of THE SAID FIRE DISTRICT to WHICH THEY SERVE. THE MEMBERSHIP WILL ABIDE BY THE BY-LAWS SET FORTH, SO THAT THEY MAY REMAIN IN GOOD STANDING WITH THE ASSOCIATION and THE COMMUNITY to WHICH THEY SERVE. THE ASSOCIATION WILL HAVE A FUND RAISING EVENT DURING THE THIRD WEEK of JULY, CALLED THE FIREMENS OLD TIME FESTIVAL. THE MONIES FROM THIS EVENT WILL BE USED to PURCHASE FIRE EQUIPMENT THAT WILL AID IN THE SUPPRESSION of FIRES IN OUR AREA. THESE MONIES WILL ALSO BE USED to HELP FUND A CHRISTMAS PROJECT to FEED NEEDY FAMILIES IN OUR FIRE AREA and to PUT TOYS IN THE ARMS of CHILDREN AT CHRISTMAS TIME.
